Onboarding

Self-service order portal
14 October 2024 Order portal

Order placed

Lisa chooses the Marketing bundle in the order portal: a MacBook Pro 14" with docking station and headset. The platform automatically creates a purchase order for the reseller and an install ticket for the service provider.

The reseller gets the order, the service provider the ticket, the employee a confirmation. Without anyone forwarding anything.

Storage & Preparation

Your image, your configuration
16 October 2024 Preparation

Configured and prepared

The MacBook sits in stock at the service provider. Based on the install ticket, the device is configured with the customer's image, enrolled in Intune, and the serial number registered. Then handover to the carrier.

New or used, the device goes through the same preparation process. Your service provider sets the configuration, the platform drives the process.

Delivery

Real-time track & trace
18 October 2024 Track & Trace

Delivered to Lisa

AMP Groep delivers the MacBook to Lisa's home. Lisa signs for receipt and the loan agreement at the door. The install ticket is updated automatically on delivery.

Alternatives are regular shipping via PostNL, DHL or UPS. The platform links track & trace to the ticket automatically, whatever the carrier.

In Use

Economic lifespan: 48 months
18 October 2024 CMDB

Registered in the CMDB

Lisa's MacBook is registered automatically: owner, department, cost centre and warranty. Every action in the platform writes back to the CMDB automatically.

An ITIL v4 compliant CMDB of all workplace hardware, at employee and location level.

During the economic lifespan anything can happen. Renewal, repair or offboarding. The platform handles it automatically.

October 2028 Device policy

Renewal approval triggered

The MacBook reaches the 48-month limit from the device policy. The platform automatically sends a notification to the decision-maker: extend or replace.

The decision-maker chooses, the platform executes. On replacement, Lisa orders a new device straight away and the old one enters the return process.

Maintenance & Repair

Less downtime, more continuity
March 2026 Repair

Screen damaged, swap repair started

Lisa reports screen damage through the portal. The platform sends a swap device from stock. The damaged MacBook goes to the repairer and returns to stock after repair.

Lisa has a working laptop within 24 hours. Continuity for the workforce, repair in the background.

Offboarding

Get every device back for redeployment
January 2026 Offboarding

Lisa leaves the company

Lisa leaves the company, but her devices are only a year old. Too valuable not to reuse. From the CMDB we know exactly which devices Lisa has. She receives a return box with instructions so she can send everything back safely.

All devices by name, down to the serial number. Nothing forgotten, nothing lost.

February 2026 Warehouse

Grading

The devices are checked technically and cosmetically and get a grade: A, B, C or D. Grade A and B devices qualify for redeployment. In between, they are wiped so none of Lisa's personal data remains. Everything is recorded in the CMDB.

New employees get laptops from the used stock again. Same quality, lower cost.

Grade A and B devices go back to the Storage & Preparation stage for redeployment. Only after the economic lifespan has passed do devices move to End of Life.

End of Life

Closed loop
March 2031 Data security

Collected, wiped and accounted for

After several use cycles, the MacBook is no longer suitable for redeployment. The device is collected in the warehouse and wiped with certification using Blancco. The wipe certificate is linked to the device in the CMDB automatically. For each device it is recorded what happened to it.

Full audit trail per device: from first order to final data wipe. Ready for any audit.

March 2031 Remarketing

Sold via remarketing

The device is offered through a certified remarketing partner. Residual value credited, disposal logged with proof of transfer.

Data wiped, value recovered, disposal logged. The lifecycle is closed.

Works on its own

The portal runs standalone: order portal, CMDB, ticketing and basic stock management. No integrations needed to start. The platform communicates through the web application and email.

Connects where it adds value

Step by step you add integrations. With identity providers for automatic onboarding, ITSM systems for ticket synchronisation, carriers for track & trace, or ERP and CRM for financial and customer data.

REST API

Our own API with documentation for custom work and integrations we don't offer as standard.

Reporting & Insight

From data to strategic advice.

The platform collects data at every step in the lifecycle. That data belongs to you and your customer. With dashboards, forecasts and compliance reports, you advise customers proactively. No longer reacting to questions, but looking ahead and creating customer value. All reports are available per customer, or aggregated across all your customers.
